Charles Gladstone Wright, Jr

Charles Gladstone Wright, Jr. was born in Yonkers, NY, in February, 1918 and lived in Nutley, New Jersey his entire life.

He was a gentle, humble, and hardworking individual, loved and deeply respected by family and friends. The Charles G. Wright Endowment for Humanity is a non-profit corporation that was created in order to honor Charlie (1918-2002), and his lifelong commitment to generosity.

The main focus of this family-funded endowment is to support humanitarian and environmental programs and impart the passion of caring that Charles G. Wright, Jr. so readily embraced. The groups who were so valued and cherished by Charles G. Wright, Jr. are our sole cause for benevolence and they will continue to feel his compassion through us.

Wright Endowment for Humanity, Inc. is a Florida 501(c)(3) charitable private foundation, established in 2005 by the family of Charles Gladstone Wright, Jr. The mission of the foundation is to support organizations in areas of human welfare, environmental protection, community revitalization, and the Arts.
